Clean water is the lifeline of all countries and the repercussions of these rapidly declining levels affect not only pollution and climate changes, but education and sanitation availabilities, as well. With this in mind, I would like to bring to your attention an infographic created by Ohio University, which focuses on the global changes the provision of clean water could bring. As the graphic points out, the implementation of hygienic practices could decrease water-related deaths by 35%. In Africa, a 12% increase within female school attendance, was recorded as well, when the distance to water sources were reduced from 30 to 15 minutes.
