Addressing the World’s Water Inequality Crisis

More than 10% of the world’s population does not have access to safe drinking water, yet those of us in First World countries can fritter it away by forgetting to turn off faucets. The disparity of water availability between the haves and have-nots is alarming and, as a race, we need to be more mindful of conserving our water usage. Also, governments and businesses could do a lot more to help those in water-deprived areas by providing better water treatment and stop pricing people out of being able to afford clean water.
